Our extinct ancestors: Busts of Ardipithecus and a Neanderthal

Some practice pieces i did a year or so back, a study of humanoid/hominin anatomy featuring two extinct hominins (humans and their extinct ancestors). This was an attempt to practice sculpting, retopolgy, texturing and hair simulations
the first subject was a female Adrdipithecus ramidus, an 3 milion year ape-like hominin from the Omo region of Ethiopia.
The second subject is a Male of Homo Neanderthalensis, a famous species of short but robust humans that lived in Europe and Western Asia From 300 000 to 40 000 years ago
